Why Hike Bear Creek Falls
A pretty waterfall and scenic views of the rugged cliffs lining Bear Creek canyon is your reward for hiking 2.3 miles up the Bear Creek trail from Telluride. The popular path, which is shared with bikers and horseback riders, is a good workout and great way to acclimate. The trail connects with the Wasatch trail that heads further up the canyon and provides options for longer loop hikes to Telluride’s ski area and Bridal Veil basin.
